MONTEFALCO SAGRANTINO DOCG PASSITO

MONTEFALCO SAGRANTINO

DOCG PASSITO

ORGANIC WINE

The Montefalco Sagrantino “Passito” is the traditional version. A Wine for “special occasions”. Each farmer cultivated it in his vineyard, doing wither small black grapes on racks, called “camorganne,” until Christmas.

The resulting wine was left to age for at least two years. Our Sagrantino Passito is left to dry on racks for two months and a half. Its color is an intense ruby red, tending to garnet, with a rich and enveloping scent of figs, jams of wild berries and spices.

Serve at 14/16°C. It goes well with fruit tarts, pastries and with mature cheeses.
