ORGANIC WINE

 

Pure Grechetto, it is produced with cryo method that allows better extraction of aromatic substances. After the fermentation it is transferred into oak tonneaux and acacia barriques for about 6/8 months. The wood of these barrels is modeled with steam only, in order to preserve its natural flavour. In this way the wine gets only the wood flavour, instead of the roasted wood flavour as it happens to the red ones. Afther that the wine is bottled and is left to refine for another 6/8 months.

It is a robust and structured wine with a typical vanilla scent and golden color given by the wood.

Perfect as an aperitif, with seasoned cheese,  pasta dishes with truffle and grilled fish.

Serve at 12/14°C.

Tasting notes
This straw-yellow wine has a fruity and delicately floral aroma with notes of vanilla. Slightly sweet and velvety on the palate with a mildly bitter finish, reminiscent of bitter almonds.

Excellent with first courses containing truffles, asparagus, grilled fish and mature cheeses
